An investigation is underway into West Midlands Police after a man died whilst in custody.
The defendant, 59, had been arrested in the early hours of Thursday on suspicion of harassment and was taken to the force's Oldbury Custody Suite.
Police said he was checked over by healthcare staff before he was charged and placed on remand ahead of a court appearance.

At 9am today (August 29), he was found unresponsive in his cell and was given CPR before the arrival of paramedics.
He was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
