WATERBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - A man has been arrested following a double shooting in Waterbury.

The shooting took place on August 16 at around 3:58 a.m. in the area of 185 Willow Street.

When officers arrived, they found 40-year-old Alan Ross, of Waterbury, suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to the hospital in stable but critical condition, police said.

A second victim, 28-year-old Everton Whyte, of Waterbury, called police at around 4:07 a.m. to report he had been shot in the ear.

He was also transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

On August 26, Xavier Bishop was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Lockland County, PA.
