Seattle police arrested a man in connection with the home invasion robbery of Macklemore’s residence earlier this summer, when bear spray-wielding attackers stole the rapper’s Seattle Seahawks and Sounders championship rings, authorities said Friday.
King County’s Valley SWAT team raided the suspect’s home in nearby Renton on Aug. 21, leading to the unidentified man's arrest, according to a Seattle Police Department statement .
Two men entered through an unlocked door of Macklemore’s home in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood in the early morning hours of June 7 and hit a 22-year-old nanny with bear spray, police said.
