What a difference a half year makes. Just six months ago, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was unceremoniously dismissed from his Oval Office meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. The relationship between Ukraine and the United States appeared to be in tatters. Hopes for peace in Europe seemed far off.
