POTTER COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A Potter County man has been indicted for alleged "Obstruction or Retaliation" after hiring someone to put a substance in a Potter County Justice of the Peace's drink.

According to court documents, 79-year-old Brian Dean Kirkham was indicted for an alleged incident where he hired someone to put a substance in a Potter County Justice of the Peace's drink.

The alleged incident or hiring occurred in July 2025.
