HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The fifth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs again have national championship aspirations this fall, and the journey to reach that goal starts at home on Saturday.
The Bulldogs host Marshall Saturday at 3:30 p.m. inside 93,000-seat Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
Georgia hopes to continue a 31-game home win streak that ranks as the nation’s longest and began in 2019.
The head coaching matchup on Saturday is intriguing. This will the first game Marshall’s Tony Gibson has been a head coach after a lengthy stint as a defensive coordinator, most recently at North Carolina State.
