Mingo County woman killed while crossing U.S. 119 in Kentucky

PIKE COUNTY, K.Y.— A Williamson woman died Thursday evening on U.S. 119 in Pike County, Kentucky.

According to Kentucky State Police, Meghan Jones, 36, was attempting to cross U.S. 119 in South Williamson, Kentucky when she was struck and killed by a vehicle traveling south.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Belfry Volunteer Fire Department and the Appalachian First Response Ambulance Service responded to the incident.
