SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - After winning the 2025 West Division Championship , the Sioux City Explorers have announced who they’ll be playing in the playoffs.

On Facebook, the Explorers announced they’d be playing the Sioux Falls Canaries at MercyOne Field on Friday, Sept. 5. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

Sioux City had 48 hours after their Aug. 27 title win to decide their first-round opponent for the Miles Wolff Cup Playoffs. With Sioux Falls now selected, tickets can be on the Explorer’s website here.

The game will be available to watch live on KTIV 4.3 MeTV on Sept. 5.
