Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Friday began chasing a driver who was suspected of traveling in a stolen car near Huntington Park.

The pursuit began at around 1 p.m. in the South Los Angeles area.

The driver, believed to be a woman, was traveling in a Hyundai Sonata with an Oklahoma license plate.
