VAN DYNE, Wis. (WBAY) - A man and a woman from Green Bay were booked into Fond du Lac County Jail after a pursuit that lasted nearly six miles on Thursday night.

Just before 8 p.m. Thursday, deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office saw a car nearly cause a crash after pulling out in front of someone on Van Dyne Road.

Authorities say they pulled the car over and spoke with the people inside, who refused to show any identification. Deputies say they could smell intoxicants in the car as well.

The car suddenly pulled away from the deputies, and a pursuit began southbound on Van Dyne Road. Authorities say the suspect reached speeds over 130 mph during the pursuit.
