OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Latest data has diminished the rain chances for the metro with spotty showers possible west of the metro tonight. Otherwise, it’ll be mostly cloudy and comfortable eventually cooling to the 60s.

Saturday likely starts off dry in the metro with scattered showers west of the metro. Chances increase for showers and perhaps some thunder for the metro by late morning into the afternoon. The greatest chances for rain over the holiday weekend will be Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Scattered showers will remain possible off and on through the rest of our Sunday though. A few spotty showers remain around on Labor Day itself though the coverage looks widely scattered.
