SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A Nokomis business owner has been arrested after a year-long fraud investigation, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Todd A. Hoch, 46, of Nokomis, owner of Sash and Sill LLC, has been charged with multiple felonies tied to construction fraud. The investigation began in July 2024.

Detectives said Hoch took payments from more than 30 victims for window and door replacement services. Some victims never received any work, while others, whose projects were completed later, faced property liens because vendors were not paid.

Victims signed contracts ranging from about $6,900 to $73,000, the sheriff’s office said.
