HOUSTON — Twin sisters Rachel Schmidtberger and Lindsey Denny have done just about everything together throughout their lives.

They both went to undergrad and medical school at the University of Texas, and then they became dermatologists at the same practice.

But one unplanned coincidence caught them both by surprise!

Rachel was thrilled to learn she was pregnant last December after struggling with fertility issues. Then the family's joy doubled when Lindsey found out she was also pregnant and they were due on the same day.

On Tuesday, August 26, the Houston twins gave birth at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital twelve hours apart. Their shared OB/GYN, Dr. Sharon Vila-Wright, even changed her schedule so she could deliver both babies.
