CONWAY, Ark. — A Central Arkansas ice cream business had both of its locations robbed on Wednesday night.

Arkansas Pineapple Whip is owned by Gabby Burgan, who took it over from her uncle four years ago after he started it in 2012.

Some customers, like Melanie Shipp, who showed up Friday with a relative, said Burgan has been doing an outstanding job with the business.

“I was like, ‘Have you ever had a pineapple whip?” Shipp said. “And she said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘Oh, we're whipping back into the parking lot and we're getting a pineapple whip because it's amazing.”

However, this week, Burgan showed up one morning to find something not so amazing.

Both locations — one in Conway and one in Sherwood — had been robbed.
