On Sunday evening, more than a dozen staff members at the Argenta Contemporary Theatre resigned, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the North Little Rock nonprofit organization. Their sudden exit was accompanied by “several alarming actions taken against its computer systems, intellectual property, and operations, including the unauthorized access and wiping of computers, deletion of website content, and the dissemination of false information regarding ACT’s upcoming educational programs,” the release continues.
Abtin Mehdizadegan, an attorney for the theater company, told the Arkansas Times that the 13 resignations came as a surprise to the remaining leadership team at the Argenta Contemporary Theatre.
