KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A shooting near Holston Oaks Apartments off Riverside Drive is under investigation.

The Knoxville Police Department said they were called at around 4 p.m. on Friday to a report of gunfire in the parking lot of Holston Oaks Apartments. Officers didn't find any there who had been shot, but learned that a victim went to UT Medical Center in a personal vehicle. Police do not believe their injuries are life-threatening.
