COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M cornerback Will Lee III said he’s taking pontifications about this edition of the Aggie football team personally.

They’re tired of hearing about “Texas 8&4.” The defensive secondary, especially, is tired of hearing about how they underperformed last season – an issue that drew a postgame rant from head coach Mike Elko after the Aggies’ loss in the Las Vegas Bowl.

“It’s really disrespectful and everybody’s taking that to heart,” Lee said during fall camp. “Everybody’s coming out here every day, working hard and just trying to be the greatest team we can be and then change the history of Texas A&M football.”
