School will soon be back in session, and summer is winding down, but there’s still one last long weekend to enjoy. There are many events happening in Vancouver over the Labour Day weekend, but some closures will be in effect.

Here is a list of what’s open and closed on Monday, Sept. 1:

The PNE Fair will be open for its final day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a show by Rainbow Kitten Surprise closing out the 2025 Summer Night Concerts lineup at the Pacific Coliseum. The Vancouver Art Gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., operating on summer hours until Sept. 2. Cineplex movie theatres will be open. Landmark movie theatres will be open.
