LAUGHLIN — The strong start to the Laughlin High School volleyball season continued with the Lady Cougars beating Mohave Accelerated Learning Center in five sets on Thursday. Laughlin, who previously lost a five-setter to Needles earlier this year, improved to 2-1 after a 19-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16, 15-12 win. This was the second straight five-set match for the Lady Patriots, who previously beat River Valley on Wednesday. ×
