There’s a reason Magic Johnson himself said that Kobe is the greatest Laker. No one bled purple and gold quite like Kobe. No one was as fierce a competitor, either.

Bryant spent his entire 20-year career with Los Angeles (1996-2016). He averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, picking up no less than 18 All-Star selections along the way.

He won five championships (2000-2002, 2009-2010), earning two Finals MVPs (2009, 2010). He secured NBA MVP in 2008, led the league in scoring twice (2006, 2007), and snagged 15 All-NBA selections (11 First Team).
