Going into the second game of the season next week, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders knows his team has plenty improve upon.
There were positives, but certainly some glaring issues on Friday night in a 27-20 loss to Georgia Tech at Folsom Field. But, Sanders hasn’t turned his attention to the next opponent – Delaware – just yet.
“I’m not on next week yet,” he said after the first season-opening loss of his six-season collegiate coaching career. “I’m still here, I’m still present. It’s gonna be a minute before I flush this thing. I gotta really think about this because I fought with me more than anybody else, and I gotta really see how I can improve to make sure we’re on the right path of success. I’m not nearly ready to flush this thing.”
