Waverly (KWWL)--A new era began on a high note for the Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks as Cal Twait's first game as head coach started with a kickoff return TD and ended with a shutout as the Go-Hawks steamrolled Bondurant-Farrar 45-0 Friday night. Brady Bodensteiner's 99-yard TD return of the opening kickoff set the tone from the start. Caleb Schipper threw 3 TD passes in the first half as the Go-Hawks built a 31-0 halftime lead. The Bluejays offense was stymied all night with just one first in the first half. Next week, the Go-Hawks host Pella while Bondurant-Farrar hosts Grinnell.
