CLEVELAND, Ohio- Massillon football rebounded from their Week 1 loss by defeating GlenOak, 44-10, Friday night at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers (1-1), ranked seventh in this week’s cleveland.com Top 25, opened the season with a 33-27 overtime loss to Glenville.

On Friday, Mandwell Patterson finished with 200 passing yards. His first pass to Giorgio Jackson Jr. gave the Tigers their first touchdown of the game and the score was 7-0 with 6:12 to play in the first quarter.

Jackson Jr. and Patterson managed to connect twice, the second time was a 12-yard touchdown. These were the first of four Patterson passes that led to touchdowns. The other two were later to Jadyce Thigpen and Deontay Malone,

Savior Owens scored a 25-yard rushing touchdown.
