BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Birthplace of Country Music has hired Richard Oakley as the organization’s new festival director for the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion.

Oakley brings deep experience in large-scale event operations ahead of a major milestone for Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, according to a written statement.
