Florida football will open its fourth season under head coach Billy Napier against FCS opponent LIU at The Swamp.

The Florida Gators are 19-19 in three seasons under Napier and closed the 2024 season with four straight wins to go 8-5, posting their first winning record since 2020.

"There was a belief factor that maybe resonated that maybe hasn't before," Napier said. "This is the first time in our tenure that we have finished strong in the regular season and postseason, and I do believe that belief in what we do and how we do it has helped our offseason."
