Construction workers were wrapping up their duties at the new Bushland High School site in Bushland, Texas. It seemed like just another ordinary workday, until an unusual sound caught their attention.
They noticed a faint rustling coming from beneath a tarp nearby. At first glance, they only saw the outline of a small shadow moving under the cover. Uncertain of what kind of animal was hiding there, they hesitated to get closer.
Still, the workers knew they couldn’t just leave the poor creature. That’s when they decided to call the Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center for help.
Within minutes, rescuers were on the scene.
