Former footballer Dan Gorringe claims he is on a collision course with the AFL after his highly amusing — and at times controversial — performance in the Legends Game on Thursday night .

Gorringe (whose AFL career ended in 2016 after time at Gold Coast and Carlton ) is now a popular podcaster and well known for his amusing antics and explosive blow-ups on AFL issues.

During the Legends Game — which had a record crowd of more than 31,000 and was watched by more than 2.3 million Australians on Seven and 7plus Sport — he played the part of a pantomime villain for the All Stars, flipping the bird on several occasions, and at one point flattening comedian Dave Hughes and throwing the ball at him .
