FLOYD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ/VSP Release) - The Floyd County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the Rockbridge County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and Virginia State Police, has announced a series of indictments handed down by the Floyd County Grand Jury. The charges are under the Virginia Racketeer Influenced and Criminal Organization Act, commonly referred to as the RICO Act.

Virginia State Police say the indictments target people involved in drug dealing, prostitution and human trafficking. Police say the group operated across “multiple jurisdictions” from Floyd County to Rockbridge County.
