The Warren police and fire departments will host their annual Community Open House next weekend.

The free family event is meant to bring residents and first responders together for an afternoon of fun and give them a chance to interact in a relaxed setting.

“This event is one of our favorite traditions.” said Warren Police Commissioner Eric Hawkins. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our neighbors

to come out, have some fun, and see the faces behind the badges.

“Building these positive relationships is what community policing is all about.”

There will be an array of activities for all ages and attendees will have an opportunity to get a close-up look at emergency vehicles, experience a smoke house, and kids can enjoy bounce houses and other children’s activities.
