It would be an understatement to say the biggest area of its roster that Michigan football struggled with last season was its quarterback play.

Despite finishing 8-4 on the season — which included a fourth consecutive win over Ohio State — the Wolverines rotated through three quarterbacks in Year 1 of the Sherrone Moore era. Now, as the 2025 season begins on Saturday vs. New Mexico, Michigan's quarterback play is expected to be improved significantly with the addition of freshman star quarterback Bryce Underwood .
