Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is set to join Napoli on a season-long, with includes an obligation to buy.

The Manchester Evening News reported on Tuesday that Napoli were closing in on the loan signing of Hojlund.

United will receive a €6million (£5.2m) loan fee for Hojlund and €44m (£38m) next summer when the obligation, which depends on certain conditions, is triggered. United will avoid a loss on Hojlund under the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) if the obligation is met.

United signed Hojlund from Atalanta for £64m rising to £72m in the summer of 2023.
