CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - One driver is dead and another injured following a crash on S. George Washington Highway Saturday morning near Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, according to Chesapeake police.

The accident happened around 7:27 a.m. and one driver was pronounced dead on scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
