Asylum hotel protesters and counterprotesters face off at the Cladhan Hotel in Falkirk

Hundreds of people gathered in Falkirk this afternoon as they marched through the town before protesting outside a migrant hotel. ‌

The group Save Our Future and Our Kids Futures returned to the Cladhan Hotel, where they held a similar protest two weeks ago. The building is being used by the Home Office to house asylum seekers and anger was sparked following the sentencing of one former resident to nine years in jail for the rape of a 15-year-old girl. ‌

The group waved Union Jacks and held up messages such a "stop the boats" as they gathered outside the office of Euan Stainbank, MP for Falkirk , on Newmarket Street. They rallied outside the office for around an hour before marching to the C
