Located in Evanston, Illinois, and nearby Chicago, I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. That’s where I truly learned how to write and report. The biggest emphasis was on being accurate. Factual errors were not tolerated.
