A high-density development is under consideration by the Coweta County Board of Commissioners.

The development will consist of 166 single-family homes and 163 townhomes on a 101.36-acre piece of property off of Mary Freeman Road, Lower Fayetteville Road and Covey Trail.

The applicant is seeking to rezone the property from rural conservation (RC) to residential-planned development project (R-PDP).

The Community Development Department provided the commissioners with 15 conditions to go with the approval of the rezoning, however, the developer responded with redline revisions of those conditions.

After listening to residents during a public hearing, the commissioners voted to table their decision until the board's Sept. 16 meeting.
