PHOENIX — Two people have been rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after they were shot in Phoenix Saturday morning, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened at around 7:45 a.m. near 24th and Roosevelt streets.
Police received reports of a shooting in the area. When officers arrived, they found two men had been shot.
At the hospital, medical treatment was provided to 28-year-old Malik Hopkins, but he died as a result of his injuries. Police said the medical treatment was continued for 37-year-old Warren Middlebrooks, but he too died as a result of his injuries.
