Lee Corso made his final headgear pick of an unbelievable career on ESPN’s “College GameDay.”
The former coach, who was on the field in Columbus, Ohio, with the Ohio State band standing to spell out “Corso,” addressed the crowd.
“This is one of the easiest picks I’ve ever made,” Corso told the sell-out crowd at Ohio Stadium prior to the Ohio State-Texas game. “Texas is loaded. Texas is No. 1. They have a Manning at quarterback. Poor old Ohio State. They ain’t got a chance. Give me my first love.”
In 1996, he started what became the most iconic college football tradition the sport has ever seen when he donned the Ohio State mascot.
On Saturday, he ended his run the same way he started it: With Brutus.
