Thomas Massie Wants To Repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act in Wake of MN School Shooting

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) wants to repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act in the wake of the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting that left two children dead and 18 others wounded.
The act was signed into law by former President George H.W. Bush in 1990, making it illegal to possess a firearm in a school zone.
Massie reintroduced HR 5066, named the “Safe Students Act,” this week.
Massie retweeted a post by the president of pro-Second Amendment site crimeresearch.org that claimed, “The Catholic School Shooter in Minneapolis Claims that He Would Prefer to Target a ‘Gun-Free Zone’ Because the Victims are Defenseless. ‘That’s why I and many ot
