ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Multiple fire departments from the Triad assisted in battling a large commercial fire at the Daimler Freightliner plant in Rowan County on Saturday, according to the Cooleemee Fire Department.

Firefighters said crews were called to the scene around 12 p.m.

Agencies from Davie County that responded included the Jerusalem Fire Department, Mocksville Fire Department, Davie County Air Resource Team, and the County Line Fire Department’s drone team.

Officials have not said what caused the fire or whether anyone was injured.
