A 42-year-old man surrendered to police in connection with a homicide tied to a body left at South Shore Hospital, according to an announcement from Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz and Scituate Police Chief Mark Thompson.

Christopher Caron turned himself in to the Scituate Police Department at approximately 12:45 p.m., was booked and transported to the Plymouth House of Correction, and is scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge in Hingham District Court on Tuesday, according to the announcement.
