Hearts have been melted after a two-legged dachshund who was surrendered because she likely "wouldn't make it" has been given a second chance at life.

At just a few days old, Blessit the dachshund was surrendered by her owners because of her disability. The sweet pup doesn't have two front legs, but it's unclear whether she was born without them, or if her mother potentially ate them.

As much as her previous owners thought that Blessit "wouldn't make it," Abigail Thomas is so thankful they didn't have the dog euthanized straight away. Thomas, 23, knew she could help the adorable puppy, and she didn't hesitate to adopt the dog in 2021.
