The moment Michigan football fans have been waiting on since quarterback Bryce Underwood officially signed with the Wolverines last December didn't take long.

With 25 seconds left in the first half of his Wolverines debut , Underwood's pass found the end zone on a 15-yard completion to tight end Marlin Klein.

The play came on first-and-10 at the New Mexico 15 after a timeout at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

Michigan had three wide receivers on the field and motioned Klein to the left side of the formation. He lined up off left tackle, then ran an out-and-up along the sideline to cook the linebacker. Underwood floated a pass to his wide-open target for what became a 24-10 lead going into halftime.

It capped off a eight-play, 75-yard drive on U-M's sixth drive of the evening. Lo
