LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is in the hospital after fire crews say a friend found him in a Lexington pond Saturday night.

The Lexington Fire Department was called to the 500 block of Laketower Drive just before 8 p.m. Saturday.

Fire crews say a man was fishing, and a friend later found him in the water.

When fire crews arrived, they say the man was already out of the water.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
