At the start of our interview, Jason Song offers an apology: “Everything about us is very similar; sorry for the confusion.” He’s sorry because he’s given me a problem I haven’t faced in some 15 years of practicing journalism.
Jason and his brother, Jerry, are identical twins. And over the phone, their voices sound the exact same. They are also running an organization together and share many of the same interests. So yeah, it’s borderline impossible to tell who’s saying what.
The twins, who just turned 18 this year and graduated high school in the spring, come up with a solution: every time one of them speaks, they will state their name first. Luckily, the Songs are detail-oriented,
