With the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency ramping up arrests of immigrants across the country, immigration advocates and businesses are growing increasingly concerned for The City’s tens of thousands of undocumented people and the industries that depend on them.

Although San Francisco has not seen the kind of mass arrests or deployment of ICE officers that cities such as Los Angeles have, it hasn’t avoided the crackdown entirely and immigrants are growing increasingly worried, advocates say.
