ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A person was shot during a “family dispute” in Coweta County Saturday, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a home on Wedgewood Circle after receiving a call about a “family dispute.”

When deputies arrived, the suspect went into the house with the victims and shot one of them. Officers then fired at the suspect and he was taken into custody.

The victim was airlifted to the hospital.
