ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two people are injured after two separate shootings in southwest Atlanta over the weekend.

At around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Atlanta police responded to the report of a person shot at 315 Hills Ave. SW. Upon arrival, police found a 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was alert, conscious and breathing, and was transported to the hospital.

This is still an ongoing investigation.

At around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Atlanta police responded to the area of 415 Fairburn Rd. SW to another report of a person shot. This time, officers found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was also alert and taken to the hospital.
