South Alabama played it very vanilla offensively in Saturday night’s 38-21 victory over Morgan State at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

The Jaguars mostly ran the ball between the tackles and rarely threw the ball downfield, but did enough that they were never really in danger of losing. Kentrel Bullock rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns for South Alabama, which won its season-opener for the first time since 2022.
