EUGENE — Dakorien Moore ’s collegiate debut opened with a 17-yard run, featured a hurdle and capped off with a block on a touchdown.

The five-star freshman receiver had three catches for 26 yards and two runs for 17 yards in No. 7 Oregon’s 59-13 win over Montana State on Saturday.

Moore showed his speed, agility, strength in fighting through tackles and ultimately in delivering a pancake block of Bobcats defensive back more than 10 yards into the end zone to pave the way for Gary Bryant Jr.’s 14-yard touchdown.

“I’m really proud of that play,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said. “He was blocking the wrong guy; but he’s blocking his ass off. That’s what’s exciting: we can make full-speed mistakes and then we can make them full-speed and do an unbelievable job for our job, that’s huge.
