The Green Bay Packers rocked the NFL this week, pulling off a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Cowboys for Micah Parsons. With that move, the Packers are now even more on the map as a potential Super Bowl contender.

Parsons, who has been a star in every phase of his football career, is ready for a fresh start. His former head coach from his time in college with the Penn State Nittany Lions, James Franklin, spoke out with his reaction to the trade.

Interestingly enough, Franklin was also on the Green Bay coaching staff in 2005 as a wide receivers coach.

Franklin spoke out about Parsons as a player and also delivered his thoughts on the Packers trading for him. He's clearly a fan of how the former Nittany Lions star will fit with his new team.
